This beautiful seaside municipality is comprised of approximately 60 square miles that incorporates fourteen quaint residential villages and is home to the University of Rhode Island. Our Mission Philosophy is that department members dedicate themselves to total community service in addition to their commitment to provide professional and effective law enforcement. Our web home will apprise our citizenry of the scope of services the dedicated men and women of this department are proud to provide. The department prides itself in our successful partnerships with social service agencies, our School Department, churches, and law enforcement entities at every level to insure that South Kingstown remains one of Rhode Island's safest communities.
