Learn about important information and research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement. Use hands-on tools to develop a plan for healthy aging. UNDERSTANDING ALZHEIMER'S AND DEMENTIA | July 20 from 5:30-7 PM Join us to learn about the impact of Alzheimer's; the difference between Alzheimer's and dementia: stages and risk factors: current research and treatments available for some symptoms; and Alzheimer's Association resources. CAREGIVER WELLNESS | July 27 from 5:30-7 PM This workshop is intended to help both family caregivers and professional caregivers. Caregiving is a demanding task, in which self is "slowly given away." Identify the signs and symptoms of stress, and learn strategies for preventing and coping with the stress of caregiving.
