What makes your teenager tick? South County Health, Narragansett Prevention Partnership, and SK Wellness are partnering to offer a series of four separate discussions to help guide parents through some of the challenges associated with parenting. Each discussion will address a different parenting topic. The first session - "The Mystifying and Magnificent Teenager" - takes place on January 29, 2020 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Potter Conference Room at South County Hospital, 100 Kenyon Avenue, Wakefield. Join us for this first free program on understanding the developing teenage brain, learning how to not take a teenager's behavior personally, and skills that can support teens and keep them connected to you. The January 29 session is presented by Renae Martin, RN, BSN, BS, CPS, Project Coordinator at the Narragansett Prevention Partnership, and Susan J. Littlefield, LMHC, who has a private counseling practice in East Greenwich. The series is free and open to the public.
