The resurrected Rathskeller has embraced its history as a speakeasy and brings that culture and many popular menu items back to the present in the woods of Charlestown. Much of the favored and special features of The Rathskeller have been preserved, and the building carefully restored. The 80 year old murals that surround customers in the dining room have been fully restored to their original form and others have been added to the new walls in the same vein. Many new ideas are brewing along with sticking with tradition. The Rathskeller offers South County a place to enjoy great food, ice cold beer and plenty of action to keep all of it’s customers coming back for more. Come visit The Charlestown Rathskeller; open 7 days for lunch and dinner until 10 pm. The beautifully made mahogany bar in the tavern serves the coldest beer in RI until 1 am. Our menu features seafood, steaks, burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, daily specials, and the famous Rathskeller fries.
